PEMF Therapy
Feel Better Faster
Chiropractic care is the foundation. It restores the nervous system that runs your healing, and that deep work takes time. PEMF is what we add when you want to feel better faster. Its magnetic pulses travel deep into the body, reaching spots no set of hands ever could, going after acute and chronic pain at the source and speeding tissue repair from the inside. Relief shows up sooner, and the healing keeps going after the pain fades.
High-Energy Inductive Therapy: A Stronger Alternative to PEMF
For decades, PEMF has been recognized as a safe, non-invasive therapy for musculoskeletal conditions. It works by converting electromagnetic signals into biological signals, stimulating nerves, muscles, and blood vessels, and promoting healing at the cellular level. While PEMF is beneficial, HEIT takes these benefits to the next level, delivering magnetic power up to 3 Tesla, hundreds of times stronger than typical PEMF devices. HEIT penetrates deeper, restores normal cell membrane potentials, and supports mitochondrial energy production.
The result? Faster healing, stronger pain relief, and improved cellular repair. Unlike lower-power systems, HEIT is powerful enough to contract deep muscle fibers, aiding in rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries.
Meet the emFieldPro
The machine behind every HEIT session here is the emFieldPro, built by Zimmer MedizinSysteme in Germany. It delivers a pulsed magnetic field of up to 3 Tesla at frequencies from 1 to 150 Hz, and that strength is the whole point. Most home PEMF devices are so weak you can't even feel them working. The emFieldPro is strong enough that you can watch your muscles pulse with each cycle.
Sessions are simple. You stay fully clothed, the applicator rests just over the area without touching your skin, and you feel a deep, gentle pulsing while the field does its work. Most sessions run about 15 minutes, and you walk out and get on with your day.
What is High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT)?
HEIT is a non-invasive therapy that uses a strong pulsed electromagnetic field to stimulate the muscles, cells, tissues, and organs of the body. We use the Zimmer emFieldPro, which delivers a field of up to 3 Tesla, about 600 times stronger than a refrigerator magnet.
How is HEIT therapy administered?
You will sit or lay on a table while the HEIT machine produces a strong pulsed electromagnetic field over the area of concern.
What does a HEIT session feel like?
You stay fully clothed, and nothing touches your skin. The applicator rests just over the area while the field does the work, and most people feel their muscles gently pulse with each cycle. Sessions run about 15 minutes.
How is HEIT different from a PEMF mat?
Home PEMF mats put out a few gauss at most. The emFieldPro delivers up to 3 Tesla, which is roughly 30,000 gauss. That strength is what lets the field reach deep tissue and produce real muscle stimulation. They’re different tools built for different jobs.
I just had surgery. Is HEIT therapy safe for me?
In many post-surgical cases, HEIT can be a helpful way to support recovery, and it’s gentle enough to use without touching the area. Every case is different, so our doctors will review your surgery before adding HEIT to your care plan.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t get HEIT?
HEIT is safe for most people, but we don’t use it for anyone who is pregnant, has a pacemaker or other implanted electronics, has metal implants near the treatment area, or has a history of seizures. Your doctor will screen for these and a few other conditions before your first session.
How often will I need HEIT sessions?
It depends on what we’re treating. A typical course runs at least two sessions a week, and your doctors will set the exact plan based on your case and how you respond.
